Newcastle disease also known as Asian roup, pseudo fowl plague, is an acute, highly contagious disease. It is still the most important and the most dangerous one of poultry disease. Test principle

The use of affinity chromatography for purification of recombinant hemagglutinin of Newcastle disease virus (HN) protein as a detection line, anti-chicken IgG monoclonal antibody as colloidal gold labeled antibody, using the indirect method to detect whether the tested materials containing Newcastle disease antibody. Detection, sample IgG and gold labeling of monoclonal antibodies specific for chicken IgG binding, due to capillary action, reaction complexes along the coated membrane forward swimming, if a sample of Newcastle disease antibody, to reach the detection line, meeting package is on nitrocellulose membrane recombinant proteins, it will form a recombinant protein antibody the gold standard on monoclonal antibody complexes, forming a specific red precipitation line, sentence namely for positive results. If the sample is not contained in the Newcastle disease virus antibodies, reactive compound detection line, encounter capture antigens will not form of recombinant proteins - antibody - gold standard on monoclonal antibody complexes, did not form a red precipitate line, i.e. found negative results.
