introduction
Detection Principle
Commonly known as saccharin sodium
saccharin, sucrose, its sweetness is
about 450-550 times, so the one hundred
thousandth of an aqueous solution will
be taste sweet.
saccharin Of food react with this
reagent to produce a blue reaction
product, the deeper the color, that
higher levels of saccharin sodium in the
sample, compared with the standard color
cards, samples of saccharin can be drawn
semi-quantitative information.
Application
Applicable to a wide range of samples
used to detect various types of foods
such as pickles, preserves, beverages,
starch products, test the saccharin
sodium content of these products.
Reagent components
Test liquid A: 25ml / bottle
Chloroform for self-service
Experimental Methods
1. Liquid samples: Take 5 ml in volume
directly test tube with stopper, adding
test solution A 0.5ml (10 drops), shake
and let stand 2 minutes, add 2ml
chloroform, strong vigorously for 1 min
(about 200), standing stratification.
Observe the lower color.
2.
Solid samples: Weigh 0.5g cut sample,
put a plug in a test tube, add water for
5ml, shaking and extract, then adding
test solution A 0.5ml (10 drops),
shaking out for 1 minute, stand for one
minute, then adding 2ml chloroform,
strong shaking for 1 minute (about 200
times), standing for layering. Observe
the lower color.
Results judgment
Observed the lower color after layering,
and compared with the color card.
Similar color from the color card is
marking the saccharin sodium content of
samples. If it is the solid samples, the
saccharin sodium content should be the
color card similar value multiplied by
ten.
Announcement
The reagents should be closed after use
and stored in the refrigerator or a cool
dry place.All experiments should use
distilled water.
