Detection principle
The main component of vinegar is acetic
acid, containing a small amount of other
organic acids. This reagent use the
reagent and total acid reaction appears
red to brown red principle, using the
national standard method, and according

Usage
Take 1.0mL samples to 10 mL colorimetric
tube, add water to the 10.0mL scale,
after cover lid to mixing, and then take
1.0mL into another colorimetric tube or
test tube, and add 4 of total acid in
vinegar color-developing reagent, and
then use the vinegar liquid titration
determination of total acids to titrate,
to shake a few for drop each solution,
until the solution turns purple (dark
vinegar into brownish red), and then
stop titration determination of total
acids, recording vinegar liquid droplet
number V, when drop number is greater
than 12 drops, then can be qualified
products.
Results calculation
Total acid (g/ 100 ml) = drops of test
solution (V) * 0.3 (g / 100 ml)
