In 18th century, gun powder tea as Gongxi Tea was world-famous and it’s quite expensive in market, even more expensive than pearl, so it’s hailed as Green Pearl.

Generally Speaking, gunpowder tea processing needs the following steps:

Fixing—Rolling—Separating and Grading—Drying (stir frying in double ovens which is the key procedure for balling—frying in big oven)
